Privacy & Data Use
A plain-language explanation of what is stored, who can see it, and how AI is used in the portal.
Important: Living Out Loud contains ministry-related information that may be personal or sensitive. Share only what is appropriate for the ministry purpose and avoid recording confidential information about another person unless it is necessary and appropriate.
Depending on the features you use, the portal may store your profile, church and cohort membership, lesson progress, attendance, reminder preferences, prayer requests, My People entries, encounter journals, stories, Community messages, support requests, and AI Coach usage/conversations.
Participants normally see their own private records plus information intentionally shared with their cohort/church/community.
Cohort Leaders receive cohort-scoped ministry information and sanitized progress/activity summaries needed to lead their assigned cohorts. They do not automatically receive your private My People notes or raw encounter journal entries.
Church Admins can administer their own church and related program records within their authorized scope.
Living Out Loud Super Admins have platform-wide read access to all application datasets, including My People and Encounter Journals, for legitimate ministry administration, support, safety, troubleshooting, compliance, and platform oversight. Sensitive record views through the Super Admin Data Explorer are logged.
The Living Out Loud Coach is an AI practice tool, not a pastor, counselor, physician, or emergency service. Persistent Agent memory is disabled. The Coach may use approved program information and the participant data it is authorized to read to provide relevant practice and coaching. Avoid sharing highly sensitive or confidential information about yourself or others.
Community Chat is human-to-human. The AI Coach does not automatically read or analyze Community conversations.
You can initiate account deletion from Profile. The portal removes user-owned/private records and account access, cleans membership and authorization references, and removes or de-identifies related records according to the application's data lifecycle rules.
